Day 1 - Departure

Your journey begins today as you board your international overnight flight to Gdańsk.

Day 2 - Arrive in Gdańsk

Upon arrival in Gdańsk, meet your tour escort and transfer to your hotel. Begin with a walking tour of the historic Old Town, rebuilt after World War II. Discover the colorful Renaissance and Baroque townhouses, the Town Hall, Artus Court, the Gothic Basilica of Our Lady (Europe’s largest brick church), and the old port. Possible evening concert at Oliwa Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in Gdańsk.

Day 4 - Warsaw, Żelazowa, & Wola

Begin with a panoramic and walking tour of Warsaw, including the Royal Route, Lazienki Park and Palace, Castle Square, the Saxon Gardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Warsaw Ghetto Monument. Walk through the charming Old Town to St. John’s Cathedral. In the afternoon, travel to Żelazowa Wola, birthplace of composer Frédéric Chopin, and visit the museum located in his family’s former manor. Return to Warsaw for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Warsaw to Kraków

Today, we will visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum to learn about the city's heroic resistance during World War II. After lunch on your own, travel south to Kraków, Poland’s former royal capital. Dinner and overnight in Kraków.

Day 6 - Kraków

Tour Kraków’s historic center, including Wawel Castle and Cathedral—site of royal coronations and burials. Continue through the Old Town to Europe’s largest market square, St. Mary’s Basilica, the medieval Jagiellonian University, and the narrow streets of Kazimierz, the former Jewish quarter. Visit Oskar Schindler’s Factory, now a powerful museum dedicated to Kraków’s wartime history. Dinner and overnight in Kraków.

Day 7 - Kraków & Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial

Begin the day with a morning concert in Kraków. After free time for lunch, journey to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Visit Auschwitz I, including the starvation cell of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and Auschwitz II – Birkenau, where over a million lives were lost. Return to Kraków for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - Kraków to Zakopane

Travel to the picturesque mountain town of Zakopane. Take a cable car up the Tatra Mountains for stunning panoramic views. Visit the Jaszczurówka Chapel, a favorite retreat of young Karol Wojtyła (Pope John Paul II). Stroll through colorful Krupówki Street. Enjoy a concert in the area before returning to Kraków. Dinner and overnight.

Day 9 - Kraków to Wieliczka

After breakfast, visit the UNESCO-listed Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of Europe’s oldest, known for its underground chapels carved from salt. There may be an opportunity for an impromptu performance inside the mine. Return to Kraków for free time. This evening, enjoy a festive farewell dinner with a Polish folklore show. Overnight in Kraków.
