Rome, Florence, & Assisi
Day 1 - Flight to Rome
Get ready for an exciting adventure as we board our flight to Rome! The anticipation is high as we set off towards one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world.
Day 2 - Rome to Assisi
Upon landing in Rome, we’ll kick off our journey with a scenic transfer to Assisi. This charming hilltop town is steeped in Franciscan spirituality and exudes medieval charm. Picture cobbled streets and stunning views as we arrive. We’ll gather for a cozy group dinner to kick things off and share our excitement for the days ahead.
Day 3 - Basilica of St. Francis & Concert
Today, we’ll visit the breathtaking Basilica of St. Francis, renowned for its incredible frescoes that tell the saint’s inspiring life story and promote messages of peace. After exploring this sacred space, we’ll hit the high notes with a choir rehearsal. In the evening, imagine singing in the very heart of this spiritual site during an unforgettable concert!
Day 4 - Assisi
On your third day, we’ll attend Mass and lift our voices in the stunning Basilica of St. Clare. Following that, we’ll make our way to San Damiano, the church where St. Francis received his famous divine commission. After a spiritually enriching day, you’ll have the evening free to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of Assisi.
Day 5 - Loreto
Today, we will journey to Loreto, home of the Holy House, which is believed to have been miraculously moved from Nazareth and is a significant site for many pilgrims. We’ll tour the basilica, taking time to appreciate its stunning Renaissance art and deep spiritual meaning. Later, join us for an evening choir workshop where we can refine our music skills together.
Day 6 - Pompeii
We'll then head south to Pompeii, known for its rich history. We’ll visit the famed Marian shrine, which is celebrated for its miraculous healings. There’s something truly special about being in this sacred space. To cap off the day, we’ll have a beautiful evening concert in the sanctuary or a nearby church, making for a memorable experience.
Day 7 - Rome & Vatican City
We’ll return to Rome for an in-depth exploration of the Vatican Museums. Get ready for jaw-dropping art, including the magnificent Sistine Chapel! Afterwards, we’ll attend Mass at the iconic St. Peter’s Basilica, a remarkable experience to sing in such a historic venue. The evening is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.
Day 8 - Ancient Rome & Farewell Concert
On our final full day, we'll start with a morning tour of Ancient Rome. We’ll visit legendary sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Capitol Hill. In the afternoon, we’ll delve into the heart of Christian Rome with visits to St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, and the Holy Stairs. To wrap up our adventure, we’ll hold a farewell concert in a historic Roman church, followed by a closing dinner to reminisce about the incredible journey we’ve shared.
Day 9 - Departure
Finally, it’s time to say goodbye as we transfer to the Rome airport for our departure. We’ll carry home lasting memories of friendships and incredible experiences collected along the way!
