Venice, Florence, Assisi, & Rome
Day 1 - Flight to Venice
Your adventure kicks off today as you hop on an overnight flight to Venice.
Day 2 - Arrive in Venice
Once you land in Venice, famous for its stunning canals and beautiful architecture, you’ll check into your hotel and take a little time to relax. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through Piazza San Marco to admire the basilica and soak in the lively atmosphere. And don't miss the welcome dinner to start your pilgrimage on a high note!
Day 3 - St. Mark's Basilica & Performance
Begin your day with a tour of St. Mark’s Basilica, a must-see spot showcasing fascinating Byzantine art and the relics of St. Mark the Evangelist. After lunch, you can rehearse for your concert at either San Giorgio Maggiore or Santa Maria della Salute, both breathtaking places. The evening is all yours to wander through Venice’s charming canals and bridges at your own pace.
Day 4 - Venice to Florence
After leaving Venice behind, you’ll make your way to Florence, a cornerstone of Renaissance history. Once you’ve checked into your hotel, take the opportunity to admire iconic landmarks such as the remarkable Duomo and the Baptistery, famous for its exquisite “Gates of Paradise.” In the evening, you’ll have the freedom to explore the city at your own pace or join a group dinner, giving you a chance to connect with fellow travelers.
Day 5 - Florence Concert
Begin your day by attending Mass at either the stunning Florence Cathedral or the Basilica of Santa Croce, where renowned figures like St. John of the Cross and Michelangelo are laid to rest. In the afternoon, take the stage for a concert at the Basilica of San Lorenzo, a site closely linked to the powerful Medici family. As evening falls, enjoy some leisure time to explore the vibrant arts scene that Florence has to offer.
Day 6 - Florence to Assisi
Continue your journey to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. Take some time to explore the Basilica of St. Clare and the tranquil San Damiano, where St. Francis discovered his true calling. As the evening falls, participate in a prayer service that offers a wonderful opportunity for personal reflection.
Day 7 - Assisi Performance & Workshop
During Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you will have the opportunity to perform while taking in the breathtaking frescoes by Giotto, which beautifully depict the life of St. Francis. Later in the afternoon, you can dive into a choral workshop to deepen your appreciation for sacred music traditions. In the evening, you'll have some free time for personal reflection or to connect with your group.
Day 8 - Rome & The Vatican
Today, you’ll embark on a journey to Rome, where you’ll explore the magnificent Vatican Museums, brimming with awe-inspiring art and rich history. Afterward, you’ll savor dinner at a nearby restaurant, preparing yourself for the Mass and concert scheduled for the following day.
Day 9 - St. Peter's Basilica Concert
Begin your day by singing during Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, creating an unforgettable experience right in the heart of Catholicism. After an afternoon rehearsal, you’ll have the opportunity to perform an evening concert at one of Rome’s historic basilicas, bringing to a close a truly meaningful day.
Day 10 - Departure
Finally, your journey comes to an end as you head to the airport for your flight back home.
